Privacy notice
This notice explains the information used by OmoFlow, the moving marketplace at omoflow.com, and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible
OmoFlow is operated by Christopher Adebajo. For privacy questions or requests about your information, contact krissbajo@gmail.com.
Information we use
- Account information: your name, email, optional business name, profile image, account identifier and sign-in method. Password sign-in stores a password hash. Two-step verification stores protected authentication information.
- Moving information: your phone number, city, collection and destination areas, requested date, items, access requirements, photos, notes, quotes and booking status.
- Provider information: business or crew details, service areas, vehicles, availability, prices, photos, checks, reviews and reports.
- Fleet and team information: vehicle specifications, registration numbers and expiry dates; team display names, roles, portraits, languages, experience and optional driving licence expiry dates; permission confirmations and booking assignment history.
- Sharing of fleet information: active vehicles and their photos can appear on approved public provider listings. Registration numbers, assigned team profiles and arrival windows are shared with the booked customer. Expiry dates stay private to the provider and authorised staff. Providers must have permission to add another person’s details and portrait. Removing a gallery photo also removes that image from stored booking views; assignment text remains in booking history.
- Support and security information: enquiries, account actions, IP address, device/browser information, session records and email delivery status.
Only include information needed for the move. Keep passwords, identity documents and payment credentials out of public profiles, photos and moving notes.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and protect your account, show suitable providers and requests, deliver quotes and booking details, send service messages, handle support and reports, and prevent misuse.
Processing necessary to provide the requested service supports our agreement with you. Security, fraud prevention and support also serve our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. We rely on consent for optional uses that require it and on legal obligations where they apply.
Google and Apple sign-in
If you choose Google or Apple, we receive an account identifier, email address and available name or profile image. Apple may provide a private relay email instead of your ordinary email. We use these details to authenticate you and maintain your OmoFlow account. Authentication tokens may be stored in encrypted form.
OmoFlow does not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive files or existing calendar events. You can remove OmoFlow access in your Google or Apple account settings; that does not by itself delete your OmoFlow account.
What other people can see
Provider profiles, their photos, service information, recorded checks and published reviews are public. Eligible providers can see open moving requests and relevant photos; a request sent to one provider is available to that provider. Once a quote is accepted, the customer and booked provider can access each other’s contact details. Staff can access information needed for support, checks, security and moderation.
A provider’s access to a request is restricted after another provider is booked. People may retain details already shared with them, so avoid including unnecessary personal information.
Calendars and service providers
Choosing Google Calendar sends the moving date, areas, service type and booking link to Google. Downloading an Apple Calendar or Outlook file lets you import those details into your chosen calendar. These are copies you control; OmoFlow does not read your calendar or automatically change the copy later.
We use Vercel for application hosting, Renviq for the database, Amazon Web Services for photo storage, and RelyKit and its delivery infrastructure for email. Google and Apple process information when you choose their sign-in or calendar services. These services may process information outside Nigeria, including in the United States. Their own privacy notices also apply to their services.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose relevant information where required by law or necessary to investigate fraud, protect users, or resolve a dispute.
Cookies, security and retention
Essential cookies keep you signed in and support account security. Your saved-provider list is stored in your browser. You can clear browser storage, though doing so can sign you out or remove saved preferences.
Access controls and encrypted connections help protect information. We retain account and booking information while needed to provide the service, handle outstanding moves or disputes, protect against fraud and meet legal obligations. Security records and backups may remain after an account closure where needed for those purposes. Contact us to request deletion or ask which records still need to be retained; deletion is subject to applicable rights and obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, a copy, deletion, restriction or an objection to processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Contact krissbajo@gmail.com. We may need to verify that the request is yours. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
OmoFlow is intended for adults. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. We will update this notice when our practices change and draw attention to material changes.
Provider identity verification
Before a provider listing is approved, the person responsible for the truck, moving business or crew completes an identity check through Smile ID. The check uses a supported identity document and live selfie to assess document authenticity, liveness and whether the face matches. Smile ID processes identity information and biometric data for this purpose. You see its capture and consent screens before submitting your information.
OmoFlow keeps an internal reference, the check environment and result, the date and version of the notice you agreed to, and the staff review record. We do not save your ID number, document images, selfie, biometric template or raw verification response in OmoFlow’s database. Authorised staff review evidence in the Smile ID portal. Only the identity-check badge is public; it does not verify every crew member, vehicle ownership or service quality.
Staff make the provider approval decision. A technical failure or mismatch is not an automatic rejection. If you cannot complete the check or disagree with a result, contact krissbajo@gmail.com to ask for help or a review. Do not send identity documents by email or in moving photos. A listing remains pending until identity and profile review are complete.
Smile ID may process and retain verification evidence in countries outside Nigeria under its service arrangements and privacy notice. See Smile ID’s privacy policy. Contact us for access, correction, retention or deletion questions, or to withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not undo earlier processing and may affect our ability to approve or maintain your provider listing; staff will explain the available options.
